1776 Promise Campaign donors,
Thank you so much for your donation to the 1776 Promise. Because of your generous gift we will be able to award our amazing teachers with over $40,000! I can’t think of a better way to recognize their hard work, dedication, and sacrifice for our children.
Your final subscription payment for the 2022 – 2023 school year will be charged in May. We are looking forward to the starting the campaign again in August and hope you will continue to recognize the teachers at St. Johns Classical Academy. As we continue to grow our SJCA family, you will have the opportunity to choose which campus’ teaching staff your donation supports. The option to sign up for the monthly subscription or a one-time donation of your choice will still be available.
Please visit the Lions Council booth at the 2023 Back to School Bash, or view the August Lion Line to subscribe again!
At St. Johns Classical Academy we develop scholars who are critical thinkers, coherent writers, confident speakers, and thoughtful leaders. Our scholars will become responsible, compassionate, and virtuous American citizens. With your help, the 1776 Promise will allow SJCA to retain our outstanding faculty, and provide our scholars with the resources necessary to learn and prosper, furthering a tradition of excellence.
Lions Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization by the standards of the Internal Revenue Services (IRS). Therefore, the donation may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Thank you,
Nicole Andrews
Lions Council Chairman
Please check back in August 2023 for your opportunity to support our teachers.
The 1776 Promise
The 1776 Promise is a fundraising program that provides an opportunity for parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty, staff and community, to secure the continued quality of a St. Johns Classical Academy education and its mission.
A pledge to the 1776 Promise is the first and most important gift we ask of every alumnus, parent, grandparent, faculty, and friend.
St. Johns Classical Academy offers a unique option that provides students with classical education. Scholars receive a cohesive Classical education, which builds upon itself year after year, creating a successful foundation for learning. Scholars are intentionally taught the benefits of a virtuous character and will be challenged through the lessons taught within the curriculum to develop and strengthen their character. Our teachers provide the support and attention scholars require in order to meet the high expectations of a Classical education.
St. Johns Classical Academy is a Hillsdale College member school. We are a tuition-free, classical, public, charter school. A charter school is a public school that receives public education funding and is open to all children in the county in which it is located. Florida Charter Schools receive about two-thirds as much funding as traditional public schools. Charter schools have to cover operational, capital, and indirect costs with the funds that traditional public schools receive for just operational costs. Help us give back to the amazing educators at SJCA by donating to this campaign.
